# Haseeb Javed

## Short bio

Haseeb Javed is the founder and CEO of Chainfore, an advanced AI systems and applied research company in Lahore. He leads the company's direction, its research agenda, technical leadership, capital allocation and enterprise relationships. His current focus is turning advanced AI capability into systems that organisations can operate, measure and audit.

## Long bio

Haseeb has spent more than twelve years in enterprise technology and software engineering, including roles at Accenture, PwC and Citibank. He founded Chainfore to close the gap he kept meeting in that work: AI systems that performed in demonstration and could not be trusted in production.

Under his leadership Chainfore has built and operated AI systems for enterprises including Saudi Aramco, Hitachi Rail, PepsiCo, Emergent BioSolutions and Citibank, delivered through partners and directly, and has set out a research programme on reliable enterprise autonomy that publishes its methods and its limits.

## What he works on

Longer-term learning directions, labelled as such: post-training, agent evaluation science, physical AI.

- The boundary problem: how an enterprise decides what an AI system may do, and how that decision is enforced in code rather than in a prompt.

- Verification: separating what an agent says it did from the state of the system it touched.

- The economics of production AI: cost per accepted outcome, not cost per token.

## The team

Chainfore's engineering team is organised around three functions, each with a named accountable lead, mapped to the four units.

- Research and evaluation (Research unit) methods, task quality, baselines, reproducibility. First output: a reviewed experiment and a maintained evaluation suite.

- Systems engineering (Systems unit) integration, secure execution, deployment, recovery. First output: a production-ready bounded workflow with handover.

- Commercial and delivery (Enterprise unit) discovery, scope, customer communication, economics, acceptance. First output: a paid engagement with a named owner.

Ventures has no standing engineering team of its own; its products draw on the Systems function.
